Forget You Groundhog; I’m Bowling!
Well that little rodent, Punxsutawney Phil, saw his shadow and got scared again the other day. I guess there’s six more weeks of winter to deal with. But do I care? NO! So I can’t go outside without being cold…big deal. I plan on utilizing my time by hanging out at Franklin Family Entertainment Center in Franklin, TN and perfecting my split on the bowling lanes. Or forget the split, I’m going to practice until I bowl turkeys all day long. (That’s three strikes in a row…saweet.)
So here’s the deal, I need to maximize my time on the lanes to achieve my “turkey” goal, but I also need to eat. First things first, I must log onto Franklin Family Entertainment Center’s website at www.franklinfec.com or www.franklinlanes.com and sign up for my FREE $10 Open Bowling Certificate. Second, arrive a little early to choose my perfect ball (I’m thinking a pink swirled one because the swirls look cool and pink is my lucky color).
Next up is the snack bar. I must buy a drink so I can stay hydrated while I’m bowling. Okay, I’m ready to get my game on. Here I go. Eww, my first ball only knocked down 3 pins…guess I won’t be experiencing beginner’s luck on getting my turkey. Oh well, practice makes perfect.
Hey this bowling thing is pretty fun! I’ve even bowled a few strikes (no need to bring up the gutter balls). Dang, look at the time. I’ve been bowling here at Franklin Family Entertainment Center for two hours already. Time to get going for now, but I’m definitely coming back. Guess I’ll go turn my bowling shoes in and pay the man.
Oh dang, I left my FREE $10 OPEN BOWLING CERTIFICATE at home. I hope it isn’t too expensive. Nice! Since it is Sunday between 11am and 2pm, I only paid $1.99 per game. Can’t beat that. Hey, since I didn’t spend much money, I think I’ll stop in J’s Sports Grill and order a burger with a side of onion rings. I saw someone else get that and it looked amazing.
Mmm. Oh yeah. It is as good as it looked. I think when I come back tomorrow I’ll try the Spicy Fried Pickle Chips. Those looked yummy too and I’ll just bring them out to the table to snack on while I work on my turkey 🙂 See ya tomorrow Franklin Family Entertainment Center. Save me a lane!
