It’s a Super Bowl Bowling Extravaganza!
This is a big year for the Super Bowl folks…#50. That said, whether you are a fan of either the Panthers or the Broncos, are excited for the half-time show, love viewing all the commercials or just enjoy the camaraderie of friends and snacks, I’m willing to bet you will be tuning in for the golden anniversary of the Super Bowl.
But What Are You Doing For the 3 Hours Prior to Kickoff?
I’ll tell you what you should be doing…participating in The First Annual Super Bowl Bowling Extravaganza!
Kicking off at 2:30pm at Franklin Family Entertainment Center in Franklin, Tennessee, the bowling alley will be filled with former NFL players…before you ask, no, O.J. Simpson will not be showing up in a white Bronco to give a shout out to the Denver Broncos. However, other great NFL alumni like Erron Kinney (Tennessee Titans ‘00 – ‘06), Al Smith (Houston Oilers ‘87 – ‘96), Tony Trulove (Minnesota Vikings ‘87) and many others will be on hand to talk to and even bowl with…how cool is that? (I’m thinking photo op/selfie with a pro football legend.)
Besides the opportunity to Hang out with NFL Alumni (as if that wasn’t enough), there will also be:
- Food & Drink Specials
- Door Prizes
- Face Painting & Balloon Art (Franklin Lanes is family friendly afterall)
- Grand Prize Drawing
- Pre Game, Post Game and the Big Game will be broadcast on 24 Big Screen TVs and a 110’ Theater Screen throughout the bowling alley
- And did I mention Mingling with Pro Football Legends
Okay, now for the feel good part of this…by attending this event you will be helping to support Family & Children’s Services which strives to connect individuals and families to hope, to healing, and to one another. Located in the Nashville area since 1943, Family & Children’s Services has helped over 100,000 individuals and families during their time of crisis (be it finding an adoptive family for an orphan or finding healthcare for an underinsured person).
So you are probably wondering what this fantastic Pre Super Bowl Event will cost to attend. Here is the breakdown, and remember the majority of the proceeds will go to benefit Family & Children’s Service, an organization close to the NFL Alumni’s hearts:
- Reserve 1 bowling lane for 1 hour for up to 6 people – $60
- 1 hour for 1 person, includes shoe rental – $15
- Hwy 66/Mini-Bowling – 1 lane, 1 hour for up to 6 people – $40
- Hwy 66/Mini-Bowling – 1 hour for 1 person, includes shoe rental – $10
I don’t know about you, but that sounds like an awesome deal to me…much better than any other pre-game party in town.
